MP-15ac's out & about

Saw 158 and 152 yesterday 1/14 pulling four gondolas on the Hempstead Branch via the Garden City Secondary at 1:10pm. They picked up thirteen ballast hoppers. Around 1:45pm spotted them heading westbound with 152 leading at the Garden City train station.

#150 was the Jamaica protect yesterday, #161 and #166 were on RF1 running light past Queens Village westbound from Atlantic Pipe to Fresh Pond at 10:25 AM in the morning. #161 and #166 came back eastbound at 3:01 PM in the afternoon light after it was coming from Holban yard.

#164 was the Jamaica protect yesterday morning 2/18 but then sometime later in the day #171 took over.

#158 was the Jamaica protect today.

Saw 2 engines pulling a load of empty rail cars westbound past Lindenhurst at 11:15am today.

Last Saturday 3/18 #167 was the Jamaica Protect, also #171 and #172 were on the Alcohol train as seen in Queens Village on that afternoon at 2:31 PM headed eastbound.

#160 was the Jamaica Protect today, #165 and #163 were on RF1 as seen twice in Queens Village, this morning it went by westbound at around 10:50 AM light then this afternoon at 12:30 PM eastbound with a Gondola car from Holban yard. At around 9:25 AM #163 was seen with a M1 alcohol/Sandite car as it was headed westbound from Belmont Park.

153 was the Jamaica protect last weekend Saturday 4/8, on that same morning #161 and #168 went past Queens Village light westbound at 10:27 AM.

Not sure what number engine it was, but I saw one towing a double decker engine and one car eastbound in Ronkonkoma last night around 7:05pm.

Last Saturday 5/27 #167 was the Jamaica protect, #152,#150 and #164 went by Queens Village that morning at 10:23 AM eastbound with 2 Red fire tanker cars.

Today 6/18 around 11:25am 168, 161, and 171 were seen with the Welded Rail train on the Garden City Secondary. They pulled the rail train to Clinton Road cut the engines and ran around the entire train and shoved the train just past Clinton Road. Then they headed west around 12:10pm.

Last Sunday 6/11 #164 was the Jamaica protect, #167 was at Morris Park, that same day in the morning at 10:56 AM #163 and #152 were on RF1 headed eastbound past Queens Village up to Garden City. It was pulling a mix of cars, Hopper, Gondola, FTSX - loaded with Concrete Ties and a Bulkhead flatcar also with Concrete Ties.

Saw 153 towing 'Darth Vader' west past the New Highway crossing early this afternoon.

153 was seen on the Garden City Secondary with the Darth Vader a string of gondolas and 165 trailing heading west around 12noon.

Last Friday afternoon 7/7 at 3:25 PM #164 and #153 were leading on RF1 with Gondola cars as it went eastbound past Queens Village bound for Garden City. Those 2 same locos were seen running light westbound past Jamaica before 9:30 AM.
