THE STATUS OF THE FLEET IS ALWAYS WHAT IT WAS AND IS: JUNK. FOR ALL YOU RAIL BUFFS AND YOU GUYS WHO GO "AH GEE WHIZ WOULDN'T IT LOOK GREAT IF THEY HAD A SUCH AND SUCH OR IF THEY DID THIS THIS AND THAT". JUST FORGET ABOUT IT. BRUCIE LIBERMAN IS JUST WAITING FOR HIS GOOD FRIEND GEORGE THE GOVERNOR (SOON TO BE FORMER) TO GIVE HIM SOME GOODIES AND THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. WHAT YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED IN IS THE FACT THE NEXT TIME THE NYA GETS NEW ENGINES IS WHEN ANACOSTIA'S CONTRACT RUNS OUT IN A FEW YEARS WITH THE STATE AND GUILFORD OR SOMEBODY ELSE COMES IN AND RUNS THE JOINT. OR NOBODY AT ALL. SO JUST STOP THE NONSENSE AND GET A LIFE. PS... HI JAY.

True, true, true about Pataki. He's little different from his predecessor with regard to reckless spending, along with the State Legislature. Look at the Calverton spur project. Albany's inaction, along with the Town of Riverhead's stupidity killed that. You would think Pataki would be able to bring them to heel, but.......
