Possible to catch BR& Wand NH&I steam in the same da

Is it possible to plan a trip south to see both the BRW and the NHI in steam?

Not presently, since BR&W's #60 is still in the midst of its rebuild and FRA recertification. NYSW #142 was down there May 1.

I believe NYS&W 142 will be spending most of the summer on the BR&W. She won't be running on NYS&W trackage due to insurance reasons...

But this past weekend you could have photographed four excursion trains within a small area;

1) The NYS&WTHS 142 running on the Bel Del (steam)

2) The BR&W running wild west train on the line from Ringoes to Flemington (EMD)

3) The New Hope and Ivlyland in New Hope (may have been steam)

4) The Penn Eastern Railroad just west of New Hope ran a passenger excursion for the local towns. (GE)
