Now I can answer my own question! I recently purchased Erie Lackawanna In Color: Volume 2 New York State. Apparently EL served a lumber/furniture company in Oswego. There are several pics of a lone GP-9 or -7 pulling a decent string of boxcars so business must've been good in those days.
