What you are seeing is a regular move. Equipment that is not useable for service at the Trenton-Morrisville end of the line is set aside, usually at the Barracks. A couple of times a week, or as necessary, an MMC crew wanders down the corridor and replaces all of this equipment with working cars. They often stop at COUNTY, and every 62 days they change out the Dinky.

Normally, this move is done during the early hours, as TAMR said. Sometimes, due to various reasons, it occurs in daylight, but it is a routine move, and nothing special.
