Can someone help me find information on the Northwest Pennsylvania Railroad Authority? I'm doing some research on the WNYP, and while the Southern Tier Rail Authority was involved on the New York side of things, the NPRA was involved on the Pennsylvania side.

You might have to look to Warren, Corry, Meadville, or even Erie, PA to get your answer...or try the NY forum as WNYP guys read that.

Working from memory, I believe the NWPRA went away when the WNYP purchased the line. I believe the deal was that once WNYP paid off the NWPRA's debt, the line from Meadville to Corry was theirs.

I haven't seen a single mention since of the authority since 2001.

Wikipedia sends it to the WNYP info page. Says that they bought it from them, washed the debt and took over. As ROC said, nothing mentioned since.
