NJT PATH Cross Honoring Plan Under Attack

Apparently, NJT's plan to for cross-honoring by PATH during the convention is not acceptable to some Mid Town Direct users because to save the $1.50, they must use 33rd St station.

I have heard that the 33rd Street entrance (actually at 32nd Street) is going to be closed during the convention with passengers directed to the south end, 30th Street exit. Is this true? PATH is installing many new turnstyles at that end of the station. But that could simply be in anticipation of the extra riders.

Sounds like NJT planners did their usual exceptional job of thinking this through...

NJT backed down and announce that tickets would be cross honored at all PATH stations.
