Metro-North Railroad stands to lose $27 million in capital funding over the next five years under a revised spending plan the Metropolitan Transportation Authority plans to submit to the state Capital Program Review Board.http://www.thejournalnews.com/apps/pbcs ... 019/NEWS03
The cuts are being made to bring the MTA's plans, submitted last September, in line with the funding approved by the state Legislature earlier this month. The approved state budget trimmed the agency's proposed capital spending plan from $27 billion to $21.1 billion. The MTA board is expected to approve the changes at a meeting tomorrow.
