Metro bars inspectors

WashPost http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 18459.html reports that WMATA barred outside track inspectors from the lines, except when they are shut down.

Suddenly, they have done a 180 and now claim to always welcome them....

The massage title you chose is somewhat misleading.

WMATA didn't bar outside track inspectors. They prohibited outside safety observers from entering active mainline track.

And apparently Metro reversed that ban:
