A metra switcher loco was pulling a 100 engine east at Franklin Park. I couldn't catch the number though. Probably coming from bensenville.

I heard that it returned to the UP lines last year, and I saw it one day in early December 2012 pulling an outbound UP-W Line train into the Melrose Park station. Unfortunately, I haven't seen it since nor have I heard of it running on either the UP-N or UP-NW Lines. I also never see it at Ogilvie Transportation Center! It is on the UP. I was on a train powered by it three times in January and once in April on the UP-NW
For much of last year, I often saw 148 on the MD-N/W Lines, but haven't seen it on the MD-W Line at all this year. Is it restricted to the MD-N, or is it on another line or just simply MIA?
