MBTA's MPI HSP-46 Locomotives

I went by a bunch of HSP46s sitting at P & W today

I saw #2027 and #2011, I'm not sure of the other units numbers

It is absolutely Ok (probably encouraged) since it will make viewing easier for all. The only thing is that the site will restrict your photos to a maximum size, which isn't too much of an issue since Flickr will give you code to embed differently sized photos.


Reports on other sites say that the 2023 and 2030 arrived in East Deerfield today on MOED.

Flickr and imgur are by far the best image hosting platforms for most purposes. Both provide a clean design - imgur has minimal ads, and flickr none - with good control over your photos. I know that imgur provides premade copy-and-paste code to insert your images into a BBCode forum like this one, and I believe flickr does as well.

Received some information that #2023 and #2030 are on their way in

Every HSP except the 2005 and the 2007 is on the Southside right now

The 2005 is still at the P&W in Worcester for the warranty bearing work. It's been there for several months now.

Dead-in-tow and snow-covered 2026 west of NS 9856 and UP 4157 and east of rest of ED?? waiting before, during, and after 0645/02-16-2015 waiting for track crew to hand-shovel switches on west end of Gardner yard.

fun fact, as of Thursday morning, the 2010 has registered 18,331 miles

Went by the P&W tonight. The line of HSP's has been moved. Where to, I have no idea.

P&W took 2021, 2027, and 2029 to Pawtucket for interchange with the MBTA. They picked up 2013 and returned to Worcester.

Any idea where they put the rest of them? There were at least 6-8 of them on that track last week.

Hopefully they are inside being worked on as they are supposed to be.

2020 is attached to a 4 car test train, with the re modified 1705 as the control car....the 2029-2027-2021 as of today, were sitting on one of the Diesel House tracks at BET...shut down, looking good in the winter sun

1110/03-02-2015 T 3025 was on the east end of Gardner Yard 2 and facing west until the PW Switcher would take it.

The 2020 is now on a 9-Car test train, still with rebuilt 1705 on the trailing end. 3 single levels and 6 K cars(4 of which are Alstom rebuilds).
