I am sorry to have to report that these museums are currently closed due to the pandemic. Since they're closed, only specific authorized people are allowed to be on the property. Insurance to allow public visitors is too expensive and they will ask people to leave because of the liability concern. This includes the entire property inside and outdoors.

At Martisco, property on the south side of the railroad is all privately owned, this includes the bean plant and associated parking area. Due to theft and vandalism issues, no unauthorized people are allowed to be here at any time. Chapter members cannot give permission to be on this property, only the property owners can do so.

Finger Lakes Railway has removed the public road crossing here, effectively ending the public road just short of their tracks, also.

People who come in, stay on the roadway and take photos and then leave should be fine, but please be respectful of property boundaries. No one wants to be unfriendly or make people feel bad, but that's the situation we have to deal with right now. With a governor who feels his own casinos should remain closed indefinitely it will likely be next year before a small museum is able to open to public visitors.

Thank you for your understanding.
