Late night D&H traffic through Wilkes-Barre

Oftentimes at night around 10:30 or so I will hear freight traffic on the D&H in the Wilkes-Barre area. About 5-10 minutes later, I will hear another train. It is happening on a regular basis. Hard to tell the direction of either train.

Is it one train following another? Or is one train waiting in the hole for the other to go by?

Anyone know?

Due to the lack of sidings in the area they must be following each other. I heard them many times running at night and I believe the trains you describe are southbounds.
