No plans for the wye as of yet. I would imagine not though given fiscal limits and expected levels of service.

Please refrain from answering questions of which you have no knowledge.

There is no timeline for laying track yet. The only contract released was for the clearing and grubbing of the initial 4.5 miles of ROW. Any track work would have to be contained in a new contract and I wouldn't expect that to be released in the very near future.

Oh yeah? What about the the flats full of concrete ties that have ti be to picked up from the Croxton runner tonight?
What about the rail train that CSX dropped off on the Center Street Branch today?

How many of the old towers and other DL&W trackside structures are still standing? Does anyone know if they would they be left alone, or torn down with this construction?

They are taking the switch to nowhere at Suscon and re-using it for the cutoff. Budget concerns.

Concrete ties, welded rail, largely grade separated ROW....they should build the track to 220 mph standards!
