I saw these two second system maps on wikipedia today. They are re-printed from "Twelve Historical New York City Street and Transit Maps from 1860 to 1967"

This one is from 1929:

<Bump>. Someone mentioned the IND Second System in another thread: I thought I'd add some resources, and ask the question which of these lines would be feasible today? Which in hindsight should have been built? Which was not useless?
