How is Canaan CT Station doing?

Hi all

How is the restoration of the burned Canaan station doing down in CT? We will be in the area for our annual trip to Lime Rock race track, but I am curious to know what we will see.

There is a foundation dug and poured for the missing east wing of the station. Not sure who is underwriting the work, or how much will be restored.

I was there last week. The previously mentioned foundation hole is in place but still surrounded by scattered materials and debris. I'll have pics up on NErail within a few days.

It was really sad to see it up close. Hope the renovations do it justice.
