After reviewing recent Streetviews, I have confirmed Hicksville's freight house (still active as a NYA transload)
has been demolished, in 2018.

2015 Streetview

The foundation and platform were still place as of July 2018

By 2019 completely removed to expand the transload yard.

Last tenant was Grease Lightning (renewable fuels)

I think NYA lost the use of the team yard to the LIRR upon the renewal of their franchise after the initial 20-year concession that began in May, 1997.

There were two E-15s with a consist of either gondolas or flatcars in the yard, late yesterday afternoon. One on each end, close to the north end of the yard by W. John St. That yard has changed much in the past few years compared to 40 years ago when I first saw it.
