Heritage Freight Cars?

I spotted this SSW covered hopper about an hour ago on a WB NS freight.

When did they start doing repaints like this and of what other roads?

You trying to punk us there PRR??

I havent saw any over here yet, only cars ive saw with new paint here lately have been the CMO grain fleet. They have the UP sheild on them.

That "old-school", heritage graffiti really takes me back.............

Nope, that's a real photo..took it from the Amtrak Station platform a few days ago..It was on an NS Westbound on the ex NYC.

UP has always maintained its trademarks by keeping them running on cars throughout the System.

I've seen pictures of Post 1969 (only UP) shielded cars also stenciled with "The Overland Route" shields!
