CG Railway, a joint venture between Genesee & Wyoming and SEACOR Holdings, yesterday announced that its new, state-of-the-art rail ferry completed its maiden roundtrip voyage. The "Cherokee" departed Mobile in Alabama on Sept. 12, hauling 122 rail cars, and arrived at the Port of Coatzacoalcos in Veracruz, Mexico, on Sept. 15. The vessel began its return trip from Coatzacoalcos on Sept. 18 with 130 rail cars onboard and docked in Mobile three days later
