According to the MTA website a train struck a car there earlier in the evening.

Well there's a lot more braking than just coming into KO..unless they've figured out how to do 80 through Jamaica

I've been out into nassau county with friends during my college years, they do have some really stupid grade crossings, like the one in Bethpage, what were they thinking??? Is there no way to put that line up over those 2 crossings?
No I'm not a railroad professional, but that doesn't mean I can't provide first hand observational comments.
