Ridership is down by something like 80% on Metro-North over the course of the year. It looks like major cuts in existing service are coming before too much longer -- they just can't continue with no passenger revenue coming in.
Gonna be many years before even the possibility of service extensions becomes realistic again.
It will take them 5-10 years to get back a passenger level that is 75% of what it was in January.
