Was just down in the D.C. Forum. Apperently The EX-CR E8's were in the yard there near Union Station, for the Army-Navy Game. Very interesting... they had their usual consist of EX-PRR Pullmans.

Are they under NEW ownership? I heard that they do not belong to Junita any more.

They are still owned and operated by Juniata Terminal.

I got goose bumps just lookin. Hey, should see if the Juniata Group, may plan a trip around Horseshoe. I would pay a Million dollars for a photo of the whole consist coming around it. :-D

They were not just repainted; they were rebuilt inside and out.
5809 in 2000 and 5711 in 2001.

The original E8 "portholes" along the side were replaced as well, having long been eliminated by one of the previous owners.
