I must say that I was not shocked to see the attached forum link above locked. All this bickering between railway advocacy organizations is unproductive.

However, the evidence in the attached video is quite incriminating against DVRPC, and by association, DVARP. Let us judge based on this footage instead of contributors to this forum act like Monday Morning Quarterbacks without actually having attended these RCC meetings and questioning the establishment.
http://youtu.be/kVBoRO3Nv5g

As one RCC member stated (see subtitles):
"The true source of disruption was the embarassing and unyielding resistance of the executive committee and staff to anything related to commuter rail."
A clip of this behaviour was inserted at the 7:14 minute mark, with two executive DVRPC RCC members yelling and acting like juveniles. If this is what DVARP is supporting, then this appears to be more of a fear of speaking out against the establishment in any way.

In other words, let the footage speak for itself. If this were a reality show, it would make for some superb ratings illustrating government beauracracy keeping desperately trying to keep things status quo.

It is all quite fascinating.

Swedish Meatball, did I ever tell you you're my hero.. ..
Nothing like pulling the wool over Alex's eyes by re-opening a thread locked by the moderator..
I'm sure he must have just accidentally locked that one, right?

What is it with the fascination that PA-TEC can't play by the rules in place?
If you want to make a political statement, why not submit a few candidates instead of these "Gotcha!" moments that just look bad on all of us..

I am truly amazed that so many individuals utilize RR.net to highlight their most obvious shortcomings.

My purpose in posting this information was to rationally discuss the issue at hand as opposed to discuss the players that have been involved with it. The simple issue is that when questions are asked of the establishment---one that believes these are the "rules - do not dare ask about them", the scorn becomes apparent.

Om du inte kan se problemet, så man kan bara förmoda att du är en del av det. Adressera meddelandet, inte budbäraren.

Instead of highlighting the GOOD that either DVARP or PA-TEC have done, these kinds of threads are either intended to be flame bait or rapidly generate into flame fests.

I can add nothing to the discussion on internet & forum behavior that you haven't heard before.

Other than locking, and eventually deleting the thread.

Feel free to PM me with commentary, positive or negative.
