Does anybody know what Class of Track is on CSX's

line from Buffalo to say Hoffmans? At Hoffmans, NY, CTC begins and track speeds jump above 79mph (ClassIV-80mph) track.

I believe it's class 4.

The split at Hoffmans is the Amtrak line to NYC. It is good for 110 MPH all the way to Stuyvesant, about 10 miles north of Hudson. This is not the CSX main line to Selkirk, in fact there are no CSX trains between Hoffmans and Schenectady. There is a CSX local between Schenectady and Rensselaer, but after that no CSX trains until CP125, also in Stuyvesant. Also the local does not go into the Schenectady station area.
