When looking at the SEPTA advisories, I thought in the past it would state when buses were being operated in place of the trolley cars. Last few times I have looked at it the map looks normal, it shows trolley icons, etc. When you click on an icon I am seeing equipment numbers in the 8000s and 5000s. I take it those are buses? The PCCs are 2200s if I remember?

Is so, buses have been operating for a while now. Any ETA for the cars returning?

The PCCIIs are in the 2300s

Also they've been sidelined for the summer due to various construction projects on the line.

Also, although not likely you'll see one on the 15 anytime soon, the Kawasaki LRVs would be 9000-9111.

Anything in the 3000's would also be a bus (New Flyer Xcelsior)
