Who currently owns the CNJ ROW from Aldene east to Elizabethport?

It is my understanding that it is owned by the State of NJ, either by DOT or NJT.

Ken, I think we've discussed this in the past. NJT only had temporary trackage rights over this segment until the Eport shops closed. Conrail retained ownership.

After the splitup of Conrail, Conrail owns Aldene to downtown Elizabeth
CSX owns downtown Elizabeth to the west side of the Chemical Coast
NS owns the ROW east of the Chemical Coast (where their E-rail yard is located)
NJT owns the block or so of ROW at the CNJ station (ie. one block from Broad Street westward) with Conrail retaining trackage rights over NJT's property.
