Business is up all over the Cranberry, except for the night job out in Walpole. Thnigs are gonna get busier on the Cape soon too, with a few more new customers to come. :-D

so that means B725 and B726 are going to have longer trains?

yes, slightly longer some nights.

CSX conductor,... earlier in another thread , you mentioned that a CSX VP came to Boston to hand over the operations from CP 45, Worcester, into Boston. Did I read this correctly?

Does the State (EOTC) or the MBTA now "own" the Property and operating rights on the line? Does the T (MBCR) now dispatch this line to Worcester out of South Station, rather than CSX in Selkirk?

Confused....! :(

Yes, the property was signed-over to the Commonwealth & the MBCR.

As for dispatching it is still done by the CSX NA Train Dispatcher from the Albany Division Regional Building in Selkirk. As for the future it has been said that the MBCR will soon take over from up in the CETC, but currently the only part of the B&A on their computers and large track board is from somewhere just west of Back Bay.

First of all, the property will not be signed over to MBCR. The MBTA or the state will become the owner. I assume MBCR will have the operation and maintenance contract.

However, despite the fact that rumors have abounded for months there have been no notifications of any kind that the ownership has been transferred. Also, there have been no requests for estimates for costs of asssuming the addtional maintenance. MBCR wouldn't, nor shouldn't, accept any maintenance responsibility without identifying the additional costs for those responsibilities.

I have no reason to doubt you, CSX. It's just that there has been no evidence on this end of the pipe that anything official has happened.
