STB Finance Docket 34806:

Susquehanna Railroad Corporation will obtain all outstanding shares of:

--Juniata Valley Railroad Co.
--Lycoming Vally Railroad Co.
--Nittany & Bald Eagle RR Co.
--North Shore RR Co.
--Wellsboro & Corning RR Co.
--Union County Industrial RR Co.
--Shamokin Valley RR Co.

Susquehanna Railroad Corp. will be a non-operating holding company -- something akin to Delaware Otsego vis-a-vis NYSW and CNYK.

Any reason why the Stourbridge Railroad was not included??

The Stourbridge line is not referenced in the current North Shore website either: http://www.nshr.com/index.shtml. According to a further Google search, the Stourbridge line is actually owned by the Lackawaxen-Honesdale Shippers Association: http://www.wedcorp.org/infrastructure.php#rail.

Am I right in thinking that then Robey is the opperator for Stourbridge?

From the looks of the website, I would have to draw that conclusion since it points to NSRY. Looks like LHSA owns the road and Robey is the operator.

Glenn,

That is correct. Mr. Robey's company operates the line for the Lackawaxen Honesdale Shippers Association. I am unsure if they have operated anything since the washouts last year. The line was severed in Hawley.
