With all the rain some parts of the Norfolk Southern branch line near our house were under water. Basically there is 1/2 a foot of road bed on either side of the tracks and the ends of some tyes are in midair. Would Norfolk Southern be smart and check the roadbed before the D9-40CWs go over it?

I hope you know that NS will have someone inspect the line correct?

NS will send out track inspectors to all lines that are near over flowing streams to insure safety .

NS has a highrail yesterday out on the former L&HR bridge at between P'Burg NJ and Easton, PA to chase the numerous spectators that walked out on the bridge to see the flooding Delaware river. Lot's up on the ex-CNJ bridge, too. Sure got noisy with constant horns when trains went thru!
