The concrete for the foundation of Comcast II hasn't cured yet, and Comcast is making a land deal to build Comcast III

2 more skyscrapers, each 60 floors a piece should send more business to Suburban Station.

and to the subway surface lines' 19th and Market station.
The articles I read yesterday didn't say that comcast had decided what they were going to build. That lot, unless I'm mistaken is a surface parking lot from 19th and Arch northwest corner to Cherry St, and looks to be less than 1/4 block wide, which by the way is a lot smaller than either of their other 2 nearby parcels, so even if they reach for the sky they won't have as big a building as their current headquarters practically the entire block JFK-Arch-17th-18th or the new structure they're building entire half block Cuthbert-Arch-18th-19th.

I think the Comcast Information and Technology Center is the most overrated skyscraper I've ever seen proposed an constructed in Philadelphia!!! If Comcast wanted a major campus full of skyscrapers, then why not move to either the 30th St area or the 17th and Vine areas??? When the Comcast Center was completed, a lot of people applauded the move by Comcast and the city of Philadelphia, as the skyscraper was a major attempt to keep a major company like Comcast within the city. The Comcast II is a crappy design. The previous American Commerce Center was a great tower that should've been erected a long time ago, but a lot of the bureaucrats, including Vince Fumo, didn't want it to get built, so it was eventually mothballed, and all of a sudden, the CITC just appears and within seconds, it's gets approved and built. Had the ACC gotten built, we would've had another company like a TD Bank, a GSK, a Black Rock, or even GE headquartered here already!!!
