We have different sources I guess. :) What I've heard is that they're pitiful pullers and require a lot more shop time to keep them running.

Ouch. Yeah, bears a striking resemblance to some of the SD26s when they first arrived on the property!

Well I do stand corrected. Two of the units are going back to the leaser as they are beyond reasonable repair for CMQ.

Has anyone heard if they are putting on any more mechanics for the additional units?

LTEX 2535 was in East Deerfield this morning...

Anyone know the status of the auction units at Derby?

I find it ironic that the operator of the MBTA Commuter Rail (Keolis) is leasing engines from the former parent of MMA, railworld. Maybe CMQ can lease some from them too, lol

Are these Giles' newer/cleaner/faster locomotives? Photo by John Sesonske:

Funny how the trace shows them set off in Utica for NYSW! Go figure!

Are those cameras in the low center part of the engineers windshield on the LTEX units?
  by CN9634

Negative on the cameras.

I have ID on 9 units... missing 2 more in Canada and there are supposedly 12 total.

This area loves their ex-SF/BNSF units! Can we PLEASE paint at least a couple of those things?! Image does matter for something

There are four units up in Montreal at CAD:
2563,2568,2578 & 2588

Don't know if these are CMQ candidates.

LTEX 2535
LTEX 2540 (BNSF H1)
LTEX 2558
LTEX 2563
LTEX 2566
LTEX 2568? (Shows as a CF7, unlikely a CMQ unit)
LTEX 2573
LTEX 2574
LTEX 2578
LTEX 2588
LTEX 3812 (Ann Arbor GP38)
LTEX 2516

Are what I have. Some controversy does surround some of these units whether they are truly for CMQ or not.
