Stupid me... a few years ago a salesman where I work sold the owner of BS&G a new car. I was too chicken to ask him about their rail connection... :(

Caught the train at Cross St in Somerville at around 12:30 am last Friday morning. 3 engines and 18-20 sand loads. Cars barely made a sound rolling down the overgrown track.

I can remember my days at Tufts when 5 GP9s and 50-60 cars were the standard. BODO used to roll back to Medford around 4am with the empties and really open up the throttles as soon as they hit campus!
