Rockville is an epic spot from the looks of it. Someday I'll get down there to see some real NS mainline action.

It is definitely a railfan hotspot...100 trains pass through that area on average in 24 hours...with moves East and West across the Rockville Bridge....Moves on and off the Buffalo Line, moves between Enola and Harrisburg..etc....A Station Inn type of Railfan B@B is being created on the West Shore on the site of the former Bairs Tackleshop...The property is visible in my pic....look for the yellow building with red roof on a cleared out stretch of land to the left of the bridge....10 guest rooms are planned (recently framed in, just need to be wired, plumbed and drywalled) A friend of mine owns it...planned opening is Spring of 2008.
