That looks like an aircraft parts car. OK has a big aviation industry.

It looks to me like it might be a coil car. These are gondola cars that carry a row of large spools with flat metal sheets rolled up on them like rolls of toilet paper.
The coils are covered with lift-off covers to prevent the metal coils from getting wet and rusting.

The ones I have seen are longer than the car in the picture. They are called "mill gondolas" for carrying flat sheets of steel (heavier than the stuff that is coiled) from steel mills.

That is not a coil gon, it is a 60' flat car with a cover; coil covers also have a much lower profile. Do a Google Images search using "boeing, train" and you'll see these pop up.

It dose look like a car that is used to move aircraft parts. It has been here in Tulsa for over a month I could see the top of it but this is the first time that I was able to get a clear shot of this car. The distance between me and the car was about half a mile away and buried deep in the yard the photo was taken while standing on the roof of my car along side a busy interstate highway.

Definitely an aircraft parts car. I see them on the historic Q (BNSF) from Murray Yard, North Kansas City enroute Boeing Seattle with their aircraft bodies in the same consist. They are regular visitors on my local line :)

neat This car seems to have not moved at all and is still here in Tulsa. I wonder if it's being used for storage?

Remember, American Airlines has a major backshop in Tulsa, it might be prepositioned to run and fetch parts for it.

It might also be configured with interior hardware for an airplane that is no longer in production...

I can remember seeing either those cars or an earlier version of them on Long Island when Fairchild-Republic in Farmingdale was building parts (pieces of the tail I believe) for Boeing 747's. I seem to remember the flat cars being BN green and the covering being yellow with a Boeing logo.
