It's reproted that an Alstom Test rain will runon the WNYP on Friday. These are the NJ Transit system trains built by Alstom in Hornell, NY for New Jersey Transit system. WNYP operators run the new engines and Comet passenger cars during the test to or past Wellsville, NY for Testing purposes.

I know part of the testing is compatibility with the CV cab car but at some point I would think they'd want to test with a realistic load i.e. 8-10 car train. I know NJT can't spare that many CV's from daily operation but maybe some older equipment?

Anyone privy to the test plan -- and how the tests are going to date?
