I've taken the Acela many times over the years. One thing I have noticed is that when the Acela is pulling into a station you can hear (and feel a little) a "clunk" or "thunk".

I don't hear or feel the same thing on an Amfleet consist. What is it? Is it some sort of locking mechanism engaging for the Acela tilt?
