Does anybody know where I can get BRAND NEW coupler and wheel defect gauges? I find them used on ebay but I want something brand new to use. I haven't had any luck finding them online.

Don't know if this will help, but I got some stuff from these guys. They offer a wide variety of AAR gauges. Good Luck. http://www.precisiongage-tool.com/railroad.html Regards

cool.. the one i have at work is nearly identical to that aar gage, but the ones we have/use at cn go to 60 1/16's instead of 50-52 1/16's.. the fat 40 and fat 42's can have 53 on tread thickness so we needed to get those. i like this gauge better than the old rose rail gauges we had that measured in inches. reading the 1/32" part on the flange height was too hard on those...
