USDOT's 2016 TIGER Grants were announced:

Via Delaware transit, SEPTA's Claymont station will be getting a nice hunk of cash ($10M) for station reconfiguration.
Sounds like good news to me, although I haven't tracked the project very closely..

Here's a new clip about the grant for the project though:

Good news on Claymont. The existing station has platforms that are too short for some of the peak trains, is on a curve, has parking that now fills most days, and the traffic in and out is through a narrow residential street that doesn't handle particularly the evening departure of hundreds of cars all at once. The closure and demolition of the Claymont Steel (Evraz) plan represents an opportunity to integrate a new station in the redevelopment of that area, with much better road access to US 13, I-95/495 and Naamans Rd (DE 92). Delaware has invested in expanding SEPTA service over the years, and ridership at Claymont has increased since I started occasionally using it years ago, so it's good to see this continue.
