This unit, in the black and yellow Emons paint scheme, was spotted last week in CSX's Riverside Yard in south Baltimore.

Does anyone know where it is going?

Thanks,

No I don't, but one the topic of Yorkrail units, 1750 and 1752 (GP9's) were down here for a while but I seem to have lost track of them.

1750, now SLR 50, is on the deadline at Lewiston Junction and 1752 is back in service on Yorkrail.

Former YorkRail # 1602 is currently one of the units working for the newly-created (April, 2005) First Coast Railroad in Florida.

This new railroad consists of two connected branch lines that were acquired from CSX, including the line between Fernandina Bch, FL - Yulee, FL; and the line between Yulee, FL and Seals, GA (part of the old "S" line). Both are former Seaboard Air Line RR lines located in the extreme northeastern portion of Florida.

First Coast RR is a Genesee & Wyoming, Inc. operation, and consists of 31.63 miles of track, with 4 locomotives currently on the property (including St. Marys RR # 504, which is on "loan" while negotiations are underway for her purchase).

YorkRail # 1602 is still in its YorkRail paint scheme, as each of the other units are in the colors of their former owners. Plans are to repaint them into the standard orange w/yellow G&W paint scheme, with F C letters.
