My ongoing efforts to reclaim the basement continue. If I live to age 128, I might get it done!
Is there any appropriate place or organization which would care to preserve something from the Adirondack Railway? I have 5 spiral-bound composition books, like a kid would use for school. These are the dispatchers copies of train orders issued on the ADIR, first one starts July 5, 1979 and last one ends January 31, 1980. Orders are written out, underlined when repeated, etc.
They are nothing valuable monetarily, but I'd hate to recycle them and years from now somebody could be looking for information. If there is a suitable home for them I'll donate them, just pay the shipping.
