Looking for info on recent operations out of these two locations. Road jobs, locals, etc., and where they run to. Thanks.......

I also have a question that goes along with GA's.

What customers does the D&H/CP have between Binghamton, and Albany?

Let's see:

You've got the 168/169 pool, which is an NS Intermodal train (206/205)

The 250/251, which are Binghamton-Saratoga manifest freights.

The 252/253, which are Binghamton-Montreal Manifest/Intermodal trains.

There are also the coal (886/887) and salt (628/629) trains which are run off the extra board. The extra board also handles all recrews now, even NS crewed trains, the 930/931.

Not really a road job, but there is D55, the Binghamton-Oneonta local.

I'm not as sure about south of Binghamton, but here are what I do have.

164/165 Binghamton-Philadelphia intermodals, maybe some manifest mixed in.

254/255 NS 38T and 39T, manifest/intermodal

258/259, Binghamton-Allentown manifest/intermodal

412/413, Binghamton-Harrisburg Manifests

510/511 Binghamton-Taylor locals

512/513, Binghamton-???

And there are the NS 930/931, and 932/933.

You may also get the occasional coal train.

Customers between here and there?

Binghamton has Sanford Seed, and Maines Cold Storage, as well as Ocean Steel, Suburban Propane, and a paper mill (I forget the name right now)

Afton has a feed mill, Oneonta has a few, and thats it for my knowledge.

The 512/513 is the CP 'local' train that runs down from Binghamton to Sunbury, PA. In my area, it services the former Merck plant (now Cherokee pharmaceuticals), a grain station in Riverside, and interchanges cars with the North Shore railroad near the junction with the NS Buffalo Line.

A slight update, D55 has been replaced by 514/515, the "super local" which runs up to Saratoga and back, switching everything in between. Up one day, back down the next.

Any updates G-A?
