Looks like stretched SW1200! Some wierd export. Never seen a 6 axle EMD switcher.

Never seen a 6 axle EMD switcher.Not sure what that is... but as far as 6 axle switchers... have you never seen a CN GMD1 with A-1-A trucks? Those have 6 axles (though only 4 are powered). Or should I say "had" as they're all gone now... retired or re-trucked with BB's..
This unit was probably designed as, and is used as, a switcher:That's not really the same as the unit in the first post, though. MPEX #6201 is a newer unit rebuilt from an SD35, and is a much more heavy-duty unit than any of the 1950s-era EMD switchers, which would include the #1301. Some roads use SD38-2's or SD40-2's for yard work today, which would be a closer match to the MPEX unit than a traditional EMD switcher.
