I did some more reading - both "Lewis Run Mfg. Co." and "Lafayette Mfg. Co." were in use at different times. And one may have referred to the plant itself, and one to ownership of the wood tracts that supplied the plant. And there was at least one bankruptcy and reincorporation from one name to the other...
