Western Route single tracking in Maine

Does anyone know when double track was removed through Old Orchard Beach, Maine? I thought I read somewhere that it was double track to Grand Beach, just North of Old Orchard, and single from there to Rigby up until the early 70's. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
