I have a question about the C424's on this railroad.I know there EX.CP but 4202 is the one I need help with.http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... id=2295277 shows it as 4202 but http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... id=2783732 has it painted and numbered 4213 is this a renumbering by them or do they have both units now.C424 4230 is still there as 4230.Thank for any help.

4202 was built as CP 4213. A few renumberings occured after that, but West Chester returned it to its original number.

CP 4213 to CP 1102 control cab to SPEX/Quebec Rail Corp. 1102. Was converted back to a functional locomotive by Industrial Rail Services in Moncton, N.B. and I am sure converted from a DC generator to AC. Renumbered after completion to SPEX 4202 and used mainly as a "B" unit on the New Brunswick East Coast Railway [NBEC]. CN bought the NBEC and promptly retired the NBEC units and sent them to Homewood Illinois where it resided until the WCRR purchased it.
