I guess the process nowadays in this age of"parachute parents", is pretty much loading up Mom and Dad's SUV, sharing hotel rooms with them, and otherwise traveling about by their rules.

Even though I rode. circa 1960, a "rail or two" during the process, there was nothing like this at hand:

Off topic:I'm surprised to learn a state university is having to scratch for students to this extent.
