Whats the story with these cars over there? I coulda swore there was a thread on them but I cant find it.

If you are talking about the cars on the siding by the old Deer Park station the NY&A has been storing them and those articulated spine cars with the open top containers there for some time now. Every so often they remove what they need I think for the C&D guy in Brentwood.

Figured they were for them..

Articulated spines = Wastepackers.
