When I was in high school, Rolf's hobby shop in Canaan had a set of painted brass HO Washboards that I wanted in the worst way. I have no idea what happened to them after he closed shop. Now here I am in my 30's just hoping Rapido does a set LOL.

5110-5113 were club/parlor cars that were leased to private commuter clubs located in Stamford and New Canaan, CT. 5110-5112 were assigned to a club out of Stamford, CT called "Special Car Associates". You were only allowed to ride in the car if you were a club member in good standing, and could only bring a guest with you a limited number of times/month. Membership in the club was on top of the cost of the railroad fare.

There's an in-depth article in the NHRHTA's Shoreliner magazine, volume 42 #3 about how the clubs operated, if you want the full detail.
