I am looking for a good slide candidate of #14 to have a poster made. I want a nice poster to laminate on my wall of #14, but I only have postcards and prints of #14 and no really good slides to do it. You can see below the type of shot I would love:

I am not looking to purchase the slide, though I will if it is available for sale (not just the one on EBay, but ANY slide of #14), but instead and wondering if anyone has a slide that they would be willing to take to a photography store to have blown up for me. I am willing to pay all costs associated with it. Since #14 was a bit out of my time, I only have good shots of the diesels. If it came down to it, I would much prefer a shot with #14 in the ORANGE scheme, as opposed to the yellow scheme or the black/white rim scheme, and CERTAINLY not the red/white/blue scheme!

Can anyone help me out?

Ben,

I have an un-cut version of the picture used in the TUCO puzzle as depicted in this Ebay auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/TUCO-Vintage-Puzzle ... 5916163943

If you don't find something better, then let me know and we can see what we can work out.

I have the puzzle too, still sealed. Never wanted to open it. How big is the uncut picture? Did the railroad release them, or how did you obtain it?

For some strange reason, I thought that my mother when I was younger did a counted-cross stitch wall hanging of the picture too. However, I am not positive about that, as I doubt any company would have released a pattern for such an obscure thing.

Ben,

The uncut picture is just under 18" wide and it is 14.5" high. I cannot say for sure, but I am pretty sure my father (Anthony "Tony" Reinhardt of Reinhardt's Furniture in Yorkshire) got it when the Munro Games plant (which made TUCO puzzles) shut down. All I know for sure is that we've had it forever. I got it when my parents sold their house/antique shop on County Line road and moved into the Town of Arcade.

P.S. Here is the only decent mention of TUCO and Arcade I've been able to find through Google: http://www.lockport-ny.com/History/Upson.htm

That is so cool, and I am definitely interested in it. Private message me and we can talk about it more.
