Whippany Flyer Dinner train - Any news ??

Hello all,

This summer, I read the announcement regarding a new dinner train on the M&E this fall. Its now been a number of weeks, and I haven't seen any news articles, reports, reviews, photos posted anywhere online .... nothing to indicate how the trips went. Did the trips go off as planned? I was surprised by the lack of media coverage of the inaugural trips. I figured something might have caused the event to be cancelled or postponed. Does anyone know what happened - good, bad, or otherwise?

They were quietly cancelled in early August. None of the trips were ran.
